I want to find a life of my own.

I don’t want to be subjected to the whims of others.

People who have never had my experience, yet judge me because they think that I should have a job by now.

I’m seeing a different side of the people around me and I don’t like it.

@ENKELI  there’s nothing better than a woman inconveniencing a man into action, than by doing repairs that require the power to be turned off. Especially when it doesn’t.

I pride myself on this ability. 
I’d have Casa Enkeli shipshape and Bristol fashion in no time.

When I was housesitting, I met my friend’s neighbours. One is a Roofer.

@Glisten that "inconveniencing" will often result in the man's action turning out the wrong way so he doesn't have to do / not allowed to do it again. Not that I've ever been guilty of doing something wrong on purpose as I have a conscience.

I feel iv discovered that too. 

When my son was diagnosed and I left my first husband I just lost friends.

I was a lot more messy than you are .......

But that weird pain for me is outside of my tummy 

I'm not saying I know your experience - my adult children are different than yours ..

@tyme hey Tymey, today I am doing housework, tomorrow hoping to catch up with my girlfriend and visit Funnings. I have some vouchers that I need to spend 😁

Enjoy catching up, although not always fun there's always that sense of achievement when you've completed a task or tasks

@Glisten hey honey, Veli will be using some of his super to repair damage done to my house while I was away so I keep him on my good side! I love him dearly and he has been a great support for when I needed it but I have to keep reminding him to do basic things like wipe the bathroom sink, or squeeze out the dish sponge. If I ask him to do something he will do it, I just am annoyed that he never thought to tell me about damage done to my house that I could have claimed on insurance had I been notified at the time.

You remind me of my dear friend in New Jersey, MB. She said the same thing, that she would have my house in tip top condition. Had I had the money I would have happily flown her over to give Veli a kick in the butt.

@Sparky79 I quite agree. My ex was very much like that. With my bro the more you push the more he digs his heels in. As my mum always tells me "you get more flies with honey than you do vinegar". If I ask him to do something he will do it, but it's frustrating because he doesn't think to do basic things, like wipe the benches or sweep the floor. He's a good guy, just doesn't think to clean up after himself.

A redundant tactic, considering the freedom and independence that women now have.
