Hi @Froggyhops @Oaktree @Bunniekins @The-red-centaur @rav3n @Oaktree @avant-garde @Shaz51 @tyme @Jynx @AuntGlow and everyone here. Great work on your creative projects!
@The-red-centaur I like your dragons. My housemate also uses gel pens to colour in as she prefers them over pencils and textas.
@avant-garde I like your Pooh bear jigsaw puzzle. He’s one of my favourite characters.
@Oaktree Great work on the latch hook! I love the flowers design! I used to do this hobby many years ago and found it to be relaxing as well. My Mum used to buy the fabric and cut up wool to make floor rugs for us which I found to be very creative. I’m pretty sure I’ve still got a kit in storage if I ever get back into the hobby again- a future idea for me to explore!
@Froggyhops Your cats are amazing! Well done!
As for me, I’ve ventured back into the world of cross stitching over the weekend as part of my self care ritual to help me deal with some stress in my life at the present time. I found a pattern in a magazine that I borrowed via ebook from a library and I luckily had all the supplies at home and ready to start so I did. It’s part of a 4 picture set based on the beach/ocean. This picture took around 6 hours and is about 5cm x 5cm.
I also decided to challenge myself by learning how to knit a hexagon 2 weeks ago and I’m very proud to say I successfully achieved this. I’m now making a blanket - 9 strips of hexagons - after I found a pattern on the internet. I had the wool in my supplies so I didn’t need to purchase any more which is a good thing. I did have to write out the pattern as it’s 53 rows but it’s an easy pattern to follow. I’m also still knitting beanies as a stress relief project for charity which I am enjoying as well.
Keep on being creative!

Here you go @PeppyPatti This is the easy stuff I do. A log I nicked from the wood pile. Cook in the oven after soaking in tannin remover. Then I shoved some stripped vines in it and let them dry out.
