Re: Good Morning

@TAB it's okay, doesn't matter.

Re: Good Morning

anyway I had no clue @MissinTooth

probs more luck getting a response  if 'tag ' people anyhoo .. hope your day had some good in it. Was very busy here for a change. drove 400ks to city and back did job interview that dragged out for an hour, with multiple interviewers. when got home, went straight to bed, ha

Re: Good Morning

@TAB

Sounds like a busy day! How did the interview go? Is it something that might be a good match for you?

I had coffee with a...an old friend. We actually had a huge falling out and I did a runner from the friendship. We haven't spoken since 2022. Then I moved my lawns.

Re: Good Morning

yes interview went really well @MissinTooth not done in like 10 years come to think of it.

yes, it would be a good match, just depends what they are offering, they said will let me know next week. they are going to work out a proposal for me. they know full time could be a problem for me. they said they need at least a week at a time, no less.  see what could suit them.  they know what wont work. now they have set themselves the task of finding what will work (for me and them)

yeah, hard re friends. I am a year at least into getting dumped by someone had known for 50 years. not the first time it has happened with them.

guess depends why you left. I had a few goes trying to get on with friend over last year. so far got perfect record for someone getting upset and blocking the other one lol

Re: Good Morning

@TAB it's sounds positive. I have my finger's crossed for you. I hope you're successful!

TAB, I have a terrible track record with friendships. I can't seem to keep them. Thinking about it brings up all kinds of emotions.

In this case...it's too much, too long for a good morning thread. But the gist of it...I was working for her as well as working full time as a teacher. I would work Friday and Saturday nights, finish at 1 am, drive an hour home and get a few hours sleep. I started to fall asleep behind the wheel while driving home. My teaching career was taking off and she had launched a battle against the local council over her ghost tours. I pulled back and it got kinda nasty. I quit in the interests of my wellbeing and my only friends were the other people who worked for her and they all cut me out, I couldn't deal and disappeared from the friendship. I stopped all contact and didn't explain why. It broke me...that's why.
