Re: Not Coping

@Glisten I'm not doing a great job of writing what I'm thinking tonight. Brain must be napping!

It comes from a saying - know how much you are worth, then add tax. Like GST.

Re: Not Coping

Oh, okay, all good.

Why don't you have a team leader that has been there longer? A couple of month's experience doesn't seem like enough.

Have you spoken to D about the favouritism and errors?

I'm sorry you're having issues, though. I know the feeling too well.

Are you trying to distract me? @ENKELI

Re: Not Coping

That's good to hear @ArraDreaming

Re: Not Coping

I'll have to say good night now @ENKELI

Thank you for chatting with me. It means the world to me.

I hope we can chat tomorrow night after my pdoc and psych appointment.

Hugs 🫂 🥰 👸🏼🌸👑❤️

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 partly yes 😘

There isn't anyone else who has been there longer. There have been issues with high staff turnover so that's why D is kind of like team leader. I am going to.try and talk to her when she gets back from holiday next week. If it doesn't work I'll talk to HR.

I am frustrated that I can't help you princess, I can only keep you in my prayers and give limited advice to you. It's hard when I don't know the whole scenario but that's okay, you are doing what you have to by not going into detail.

What time do you normally go to bed sweetie? I know you log off at 10 but I was wondering what time you actually go to bed.

Let me know what time your appointments are tomorrow and I'll throw in some extra prayers for you.

You are such a blessing to me BoP. You have no idea how happy you've made me, being g able to call you my friend 🫂🥰👸👑💐

Re: Not Coping

Nwww 🥰 @ENKELI  Hugs. I love that. “Then add tax”.

Permission to use it please?
G

Re: Not Coping

@Glisten please use it. I love that you want to!

You are good people G, how's your night going?

You mentioned earlier you were staying away from the shed, was that due to illness? If so I hope you're much better now.

Re: Not Coping

@ENKELI  I try my best not to be horrible 🤣

I’ve been on Messenger chatting to a friend in QLD.

My girls (36 & 37) arrived back from visiting their 1 month old niece in Brisbane. They spent 4 days in Byron Bay. I loaded them up with gifts before they left 😁

Off to the GP tomorrow to get a referral to a trauma psychologist.

How was work for you?

G

Re: Not Coping

@Glisten work is good but very busy as we are down 2 staff members (holidays)

All the best with your referral, I'll be thinking of you 💙

Re: Not Coping

Gosh, that's not good. They have a high turnover. I guess you'll look for a job before quitting if it comes to that. The cafe I worked at at the hospital in Hobart had a high turnover when I was there, and they still do because my dad is an orderly there, and when he goes to the cafe, he says that each week, there is someone new, lol. They were lucky to have me for three years.

Do you know why there is so much turnover in staff?

I'm sorry @ENKELI I wish I could tell the whole truth about what is going on. I really wish I could.

Oh, anywhere from 10 pm to 11:30, depending on what time I need to get up in the morning and how quickly my sleep meds take to kick in.

I've just seen my pdoc, and it went well. He did the referral for the outreach programme, and he gave me two new meds, lol. One is for sleep, and the other is another antipsychotic to increase dopamine.

My psych is at 1:45, so I'm just in a nearby cafe, as they are both on the same street. If I were to go home, I wouldn't stay for long and would have to go again, so I thought I would just stay here and do some study.

Aww, you make me want to cry with happy tears. You mean so much to me, and it's a pleasure to be your friend and to call you my friend. I hate that we can never meet in person. That would just be amazing.

By the way, my hair looks ten times better today after I style it. I can't take a photo as my face would be in it, lol. I am unsure how I could take a good photo from the back, hahaha.
