Re: Frogs Everywhere
That's what I thought @Shaz51 The Info Site said they were Noisy & Messy....
Apparently they've spread around most of Australia - they're probably here in WA too.

Re: Frogs Everywhere
Yep, that's a Rainbow Lorikeet.
Those are a feral Pest here in WA @MDT
They got out of someone's Aviary, & spread here - there are 1000's of Rainbow Lorikeets here, in Perth now.
They belong only on the east-coast of Australia.
Similar with Laughing Kookaburras (only native to East of Australia) - someone brought them over here, now there are 1000's (pinching sausages off your BBQ).
Those eastern birds love it over here (in WA)....

Re: Frogs Everywhere
I do indeed love froggies, thanks @Anastasia 😄🐸
I realise north QLD is very very wet right now @Shaz51 so I expect you'd have frogs everywhere.
We too have had a lot of rain here, and every time it rains there are green tree frogs making a chorus of croaks in all the downpipes of the gutters. It becomes much amplified in the pipes too. But a nice sound.
And Holly loves finding frogs around the deck at night, or hiding in some of the pots. She is very gentle, just seems to be happy when I acknowledge that she has cleverly found another frog. Often they will hop into the garden, and that pleases her too.
